Qualifications
- A GREAT LOVE FOR AND DEDICATION TO CHILDREN!
- Be able to plan and arrange safe, fun learning opportunities
- Know how to plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks
- Have an interest in children as individuals, and a confident and positive personality
- Have experience of working with children of various ages, in a variety of different settings
- Minimum of 2 years Nanny, Babysitting, Teaching, Tutoring or House Assistant experience (foreign languages and any certifications related to children a plus!
- One Year Commitment
- Non-smoker
- Fluent in English or Language required for the position
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School graduate
Screening process includes:
- National Criminal Background Screen
- National Sexual Offender Registry Screen
- Colorado State Sexual Offender Registry Screen
- SSN was validly issued
- Other names and addresses associated with SSN
- Current Photo
- Driving Record Check
- Personal Interview with a Recruiting Specialist
- Verify Child Care references
- Complete CPR certification or re-certification
Registration
1.Simply call us
Simply call our offices to speak with an agency representatives in regard to your childcare or other specific employment needs. We will explain how our agency works, the placement process, our replacement and fee options and answer any additional questions you may have!

We will then schedule a time to personally hand deliver
your family registration packet to your home or other
convenient location. A one time only registration fee is due
in order to receive your registration packet. We will
collect this at time of registration packet delivery.
Once you have completed the registration packet and signed your contract, you may call us to pick it up or fax it to us at 303- 499-2023. If your paperwork is faxed, we require you to mail the hard copy to:

2. We review your registration
After a careful study of your family registration packet, we will immediately begin a search to match your individual needs to the information we have on each candidate. Nannies of the Rockies, LLC refers those candidates that we feel best meet your needs, based on information you have posted on your job description, written on your family registration packet, and conveyed verbally to Nannies of the Rockies, LLC. These candidates are chosen based on qualifications, personality, style, availability, and their own personal goals.
We will speak with the candidates about their potential interest in your position. We will also discuss with you the candidates you are interested in. You are then given the opportunity to interview these applicants in person (If you are out of state and you desire a personal interview with an applicant you are responsible for covering all travel expenses.). We take the utmost care to search for the very best applicants, but it is vital during your interview that you ask the questions of the potential candidate that will further determine their suitability for your own unique situation. We encourage you and the candidates to discuss all aspects of the position. We want you to be happy with your choice.
3. Post Your Job
We ask our Families to "Post A Job" on our website to reach more Candidates and present their job description in their own words. Your name and contact information are not allowed on the post for your safety and privacy. This allows us to have any Candidates we feel might be a good potential prospect review information about your job description and family. This saves you time, so you aren't interviewing someone who doesn't match up to your requirements or has a different job expectation. Having the written description avoids possible miscommunication when it goes back and forth between Families, potential Candidates and the Agency.
Hiring Process
1. Interview The Nanny.
It is recommended that you conduct the interview within the environment of the position. By having the children present you will be able to witness and evaluate the interaction between them and the potential caregiver. It is also important during your interview to discuss exactly what your family needs are terms of employment as work days, hours, salary. It should also include nanny duties, children’s school schedule, list of activities, educational needs, behavioral and discipline issues, and medical information about allergies, special dietary needs, etc. Every family has different requirements and expectations, by thoroughly discussing this during the interview process, it will prevent misunderstandings down the road. Open communication is essential!
2. Hiring
You then make the final hiring decision. All the salary negotiations, financial aspects, job description, negotiations, etc. are strictly between you and the applicant. Nannies of the Rockies, LLC is a referral agency only. The candidates are not our employees at any time.
3. Complete "Confirmation of Hire" form.
Once a candidate has been verbally hired, you must complete the "confirmation of hire" form." All fees are due immediately upon verbal hire.
4. Placement Fee Payment
Placement fees are due and payable on the date the client verbally offers the position to Candidate and Candidate verbally accepts. Permanent Placement Fees are payable by check, wire transfer or cash. For wire transfer, service fees will apply.
