We are a pretty flexible and laid back family of four.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We're looking for a nanny for a few reasons: 1) our kids go to preschool and we would like for them to have a break from the routine this summer, 2)We like them in the social atmosphere of school but think they would also benefit from some one-on-one attention when we can't be with them 3) John will be doing some traveling, which is something new, and we like the idea of them being home during this transition time.

We have 2 very active boys, ages 4 and 3. They are so much fun but require a lot of interaction and work.
Describe your home setting: We live in a single family home in Arvada.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We would like someone who will clean up after the kids when they eat and help them pick up their toys, basic meal prep required as well. We would like a person who has their own car to bring them to fun activities during the summer. Our preference is that travel is limited to the immediate local area.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We have a park in the neighborhood that the kids enjoy. They also like to play in the backyard, in the cul-de-sac with the neighborhood kids (with close supervision), reading, arts and crafts and other fun summer activities. I really don't want them to go to the pool yet - they'll be taking lessons and aren't ready for it.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR certified, some college preferred

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Over the summer we'll need someone 28-32 hours a week. In the fall we may need someone for an occasional late afternoon (4-6ish), last minute sick care and one Saturday night a month. The fall hours are flexible and will depend mostly on the nanny's interest in them.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$12-$14/hour depending on experience.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
We have a 12 year old golden retriever. He requires little maintenance but does enjoy any attention he can get.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
The most important thing is the nanny be truly engaged with the kids and have the utmost concern for their well being and safety. Our 4 year old is very sweet and sensitive and needs someone who enjoys activity. Our 3 year old really likes for someone to sit on the floor and play child-led games with him.
