my husband and i have two adorable, highly energetic toddlers who will be 3 and 2 this fall (they are 12 months apart).
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
i am home with the children quite a bit and am looking for someone to provide co-support in caring for the children, helping with the cooking, laundry, etc since they are both at such young and energetic ages. once we settle in with the nanny, i'd likely go back to work part time.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
our boy will be 3 years old this october. he reminds me of curious george - loves to explore, check out new things and is very energetc. our daughter will be 2 year old in november. she is very easy going, loving, sweet, and also energetic - loves to climb and go to the park.
Describe your home setting: my husband and i have a home with a lovely backyard close to open space. we all like to spend much time outdoors (especially the kids and i)

reading, going to the park, swimming (with me present if with both kids), playing games, having fun!!!!
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
We are looking for someone Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays full days (8-10 hours) and then a half or full day each weekend (can switch off from Sat or Sunday). We are open to finding two different nannies to fill this position (in case one wants weekends and the other doesn't). We are looking for someone with a love for toddlers and who has lots of energy and patience.

35-40 hours per week. this is for at least a year

$13 per hour. This includes one week of paid vacation.

someone with lots of enthusiasm for children, who has lots of patience, energy and flexibility
Additional comments:
we might be interested in haivng our nanny do a few overnights in the year (less than 5 nights) if possible. we also might be interested in having the nanny travel with us one week during the year to florida to visit grandparents
