We are a happy, close knit pack that is about to get bigger. Both parents work full-time. Our three kids are active, getting busier, and looking forward to welcoming their new sister. All kids have been in full-time childcare for several years; we are looking to bring someone into our home that can help bring a little balance to the kids.

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Reliable, experienced professional who is looking for a long-term relationship with our family. Hope to find someone experienced with infant care who is comfortable managing a baby while keeping up with our three older kids. Patience and a sense of humor a plus.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Boy (7), 2 girls (5 and 4), expecting baby girl in August

Describe your home setting: single family home; small yard with access to parks and trails. Walking distance to elementary school. Husband works at home in basement office.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Getting older kids to and from school (2 at full-time elementary school, one at part-time preK). Tasks related to kids only (kids laundry, snack and meal prep)

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We are looking for someone who truly wants to engage with the kids: going to the park; walks and bike rides; arts and crafts; help with homework; listening to long, complicated stories about Barbies

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
First aid and CPR preferred

Start date is flexible

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
full-time (8 am - 5 pm, M-F), long-term.

How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$17-18/hour; paid time off and benefits negotiable. We would be interested in having someone start this summer before the baby arrives to get to know us. Summer nanny rate is $12-14/hour.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Really looking for someone experienced and comfortable with multiple children and who is really comfortable caring for an infant while juggling three active kids.
