We are an active family who enjoys traveling and being outdoors. We have one 2.5y old daughter.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for someone that enjoys children to spend time with our daughter. We are looking for someone to pick up our daughter from preschool and engage her through play, exploration, arts & crafts and adventure.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our daughter is 2.5y old. She is clever and creative. She has an extensive vocabulary. She enjoys playing outside and make believe. Her stuffed animals are her good "friends". She can be somewhat shy but this is overcome with encouragement from adult caregiver. She is fun and loves most people and animals. She does not seem to like boring people. While she hates to see her parents leave, she is okay when she is engaged by her nanny in some fun activity.
Describe your home setting: Our home is a house with a large yard including a big fenced in area with a kid's slide and playhouse. We are within walking distance to many parks, downtown, the creek, the pool.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
•Childcare
•Transport from preschool (1 mile – by foot with jogger @ 3pmTuesday and Thursday)
•Light housekeeping (although we have a cleaner, so no heavy cleaning)
•simple food prep/cooking
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
play outside, park, maybe pool, art/crafts, reading, story time at the library, organize playdates time permitting
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
First Aid/CPR a plus
Knowledge about Love & Logic also a plus, or at least willingness to learn more about it as a childrearing style

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
•Regular hours each Tues and Thurs 2:30-6pm (child in preschool ‘til 3pm)
•Regular hours Wed 8-2:30p until July 1, if nanny available.
•After July 1, flexible hours based on nanny availability
