We\'re an active couple with a 6 month old daughter. We love nature and the outdoors, music and art.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We're looking for someone who will be a nurturing and kind caretaker for our daughter; someone who takes initiative, doesn't require much oversight, and makes us feel like our daughter is in responsible, capable hands while Dad tends to his graduate school obligations and Mom returns to work part time.

Lilla is a 6-month old girl.
Describe your home setting: We live in a small house centrally located near downtown Boulder -- casual, no shoes in the house. Both of us are home periodically throughout the day. Our back yard is great for playing with Lilla.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Light housekeeping (for childcare), and occasional errands for activities related to Lilla.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
General activities that foster infant/toddler development like sitting up, rolling over, tummy time, hand play and reading are desired; appreciation of music and the arts is a plus. We also love to hike with Lilla in the carrier and walk downtown with her in the stroller.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Infant First Aid/CPR.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
15-20 hours per week, long-term, with possibility of more hours as our daughter grows.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$12 - 15 per hour. Performance bonuses available.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
We have 3 friendly cats.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We are looking for a Nanny who will feel like s/he is a part of our household. Our nanny will be closely coordinating with us regarding breastfeeding, starting solid foods, and our daughter’s sleep schedule, so someone who understands the importance of clear, timely communication and follow-through is a must.
Additional comments:
With the right person, we are fairly flexible with developing a part-time schedule that works for all of us.
