We are a professional couple and have just had our first child. My husband is a commercial real estate broker in Boulder and I am a teacher in the Boulder Valley School District. We are a fun-loving couple who believes in balancing our professional lives with family life. We enjoy hiking, traveling, spending time with friends, and being together at home.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We want our daughter to have the most attentive care possible while she is still very young. Establishing routines/schedules is important to us. We feel that having a nanny care for our daughter in our home would best meet those needs.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have been blessed with a healthy daughter who is 6 months old now. She is an absolute delight! She has a very pleasant disposition and sweet personality.
Describe your home setting: We live in a 4 bedroom house in Gunbarrel. Our home is a ranch-style home with a spacious basement. The baby's room is on the main floor. There are many young families in our neighborhood. Heatherwood Elementary is a few blocks away.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
The most important service we are looking for is quality care of our duaghter. Additionally, we would like for our nanny to keep up with the baby's laundry and to tidy the house each day.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We would like our nanny to actively play with our daughter, read to her, and go for walks. We would also like for our nanny to maintain the nap and feeding schedule we have already implemented.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR/First Aid is a must! We would like to find someone who has had at least 3 years experience caring for infants/toddlers. Someone who is interested in pursuing a career in childcare/education would be ideal, but not required.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
We are hoping to find someone who could care for our daughter 2 to 3 days per week from 8:30-4:30. We would also like to use this person as a babysitter from time to time.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$12 -$15 per hour - No benefits
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
We have two super friendly cats. They are indoor/outdoor cats and go about their own business during the day.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We hope to find someone who would care for our daughter just as much as we do! We would like someone who would encourage her to grow as an individual in a supportive and loving environment. We want a nanny who supports our daughters creativity and individuality.
