Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for a nanny to help with after school care. My husband works long hours everyday, and I work longish hours 3 days a week.
Three times a month I work as late as 7 pm. The nanny would be responsible for picking up the oldest from her after school program and bringing her home at which point you would give her a snack if needed, play games, read, craft or engage in imaginary play. Three time a month the nanny would also need to pick up the baby from her daycare and care for her as well.
During the summer, the nanny would need to pick the older child up from her camp and this location may change from day to day/week to week. The nanny will also help with bedtime as well.

2 girls, one 5 years old and the other born on October 4th, 2011.

Cooking dinner for the child and family. The nanny may only get a start and I can finish up some nights when I get home. The nanny would be welcome to join us for dinner as well.

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Must have infant experience.
Excellent communication skills.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
15 hours a week, from 6:45-8:45 and 4-7 every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. On the days I am late at work, may be needed until 7:30.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$13-16/hour. We will reimburse for mileage as well at the going AAA rate (I believe it is currently $0.55 a mile)
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
one dog, Mocha. She is a labradoodle.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone who is genuinely positive and happy. We are a drama free family. :)
Must have a clean driving record, must have a clean background check. Must not talk on the phone nor text while driving. Must agree to never physically discipline the children.
