My family consists of my wonderful four-year-old daughter and myself. We are very caring and easy-going. My daughter is bright, compassionate, and curious. I am a personal chef in Boulder, developing a new business.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
I am looking for a nanny who can keep my daughter active and engaged during the summer while I develop my business and begin taking on new clients. I will then need someone who can take her to a half-day preschool and pick her up in the fall, rounding that out with watching her the during hours that I am working. I will need a nanny to do this at least through January 2013.

My daughter is four.
Describe your home setting: We live in a casual, contemporary condo with a small front yard and a back patio. Our home is part of an eco-friendly community that consists of individual homes and well-maintained indoor and outdoor community spaces.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
I require light house keeping and simple meal and snack preparation for my child only and possibly driving my daughter to a weekly Summer lesson. In the Fall,
I will require my daughter to be dropped off and picked up from preschool.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
I would like a nanny who can keep my daughter active outside by taking her to the park and the pool, supervising while she practices riding her bike and scooter, and doing fun activities like yoga. Indoor activities of importance are reading, painting, creative play, optional singing and dancing, baking and having quiet time.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR certification, College Degree

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
30-35 regular hours during the week in the summer, then similar or slightly less hours during the school year, through January. Optional occasional evenings and weekends will be available as well.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$12-$14/Hr. Four days paid vacation in August while family is on vacation
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
One docile cat. The nanny will not have to do anything to care for the cat.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
I would like a nanny who truly connects with children and cares about their proper development. A nanny who appreciates our family values of consistency and structure balanced by fun, light-heartedness and unstructured play time would be greatly appreciated.
