We are a split family so our kids live in two households. We love to play and do things outside and rarely watch television (only movie nights on Saturdays). We are energetic and love to be goofy and silly. We believe in parenting with love and logic and try to teach our children the value of taking responsibility for their actions.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We really want consistency for our kids. We have them 50% of the time and really need someone to watch when they are not in their school programs. We need all day care for Clive on Mondays, after- school care for Clive on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 11:45. We need after-school care for Audrey for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays starting at 2:30. Ultimately, we want someone who can be flexible ... someone who can watch the kids all day when they don't have school or someone who could take them to extra activities. We also really want someone who will interact with the children and not just sit and watch them.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Clive is our 3 year old boy who loves transformers and anything super hero like. Audrey is 5 and is obsessed with princesses. Both are very loving and energetic.
Describe your home setting: We live in a small town community in Lyons. It is a nice, close nitch neighborhood. Our home has lots of space and a large backyard that is open to our neighbors. We often share the backyard play objects with our other neighbors. It is in a cul-de-sac which is great for riding bikes. We also live within walking distance of a nice park. Everything in town is a quick 3-5 minute drive away.

Playing and interacting with the kids while keeping them safe. Also, possible pick-up and drop off from school and extra activities in town.

Read, paint, play, sing, play outside, anything creative and fun.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR certified. It would be nice to have someone with education background to help in stimulating their little brains during play.

23 hours initially with possibility of more, especially with summer or days there is no school.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone is loving, energetic and fun but who can also be firm when necessary. Our kids respond well to limits and consistency.
