Nanny Job Details

Job ID: 5163
Location: Boulder, CO

Please describe your family:
We are a married couple with a six week-old baby girl and two cats. My husband's an engineer and I'm a scientist (typical Boulder...).

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
I'm headed back to work and our daycare slot doesn't open up for another six weeks. So we need someone who can work part-time from 1/7/13 to 2/22/13. After that, our daughter enters daycare.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
One six-week old baby girl. She's a sweetie.

Describe your home setting: Single-family detached house in a residential part of North Boulder, two miles from CU main campus and less than a mile from Whole Foods. House is nothing special, yard is awesome.

We are interested in the following:
Nanny, Temporary

Full-Time/Part-Time?
Part-time

How long do you need a Nanny?
Less than 6 months

Live-in/Live-out?
Nanny, live-out

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We just need someone to look after our baby (i.e., feed her, change her, cuddle her, and so on).

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Our daughter likes to be carried/worn. When she's awake, we'd like our nanny to read to her or sing to her. She doesn't pay a whole lot of attention but we think the stimulation is good for her. We'd also like it if our nanny can give our baby some tummy time.

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR/First-aid

Does this position require a valid driver's license?
No

Does this position require a car?
No

When will this position be available?
1/7/2013

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
M-F 11 am to 5 pm. This position will last for six weeks.

How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
We're willing to pay $15-$20/hour. No benefits.

Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Yes. We have two cats and a fish tank. The cats are friendly and strictly indoor only.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We need someone who will be attentive and quick to respond to our daughter's needs. We also need someone who will be punctual and give us reasonable heads up if they can't make it in.

Additional comments:
We'd vastly prefer it if our nanny has their own means of transport to/from our house. Parking on our street is not an issue and if our nanny prefers to commute by bike we're more than willing to allow them to park it in the garage.
