We are a family in Boulder with 2 working parents. Our lives are busy with work, school, after school activities and camps in the summer. We are an easy going family, like to stay healthy, and keep a neat but comfortable house.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for someone who can help watch the girls afterschool (3pm) until we get home from work (usually between 6:30 and 7pm) and can also help out with more hours during the summer. We are looking for someone interested in a long term position.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have two girls ages 6 and almost 10. They are pretty girlie (love crafts, dolls, playing outside, gymnastics and reading) and are well behaved.
Describe your home setting: We live in a single family home in a neighborhood near 55th & baseline in Boulder.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We would like help during the week with some house management duties - specifically, cooking for the girls, picking up around the house/keeping it clean related to the girls activities & meals (we have a regular housekeeper so not heavy cleaning), help with grocery shopping, laundry, and we are hoping to get a new puppy this summer so if you are open to it, some extra hours available to help take care of the dog during the day
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
During the school year: pick up from school, driving to afterschool activities, help with homework, dinner prep and help get them ready for bed - also playing with them - games, crafts, and taking them outside / to the park. During the summer they will also be going to the pool.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
25-30 hours - long term (one year minimum) more hours in the summer: some weeks~ 50hrs. Also evening babysitting if/when available.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Pay will depend on experience and a weekly minimum number of hours we work out - range is $13-$17/hour. We will also cover gas expense, and some vacation time.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Not yet - but we are probably getting a hypo-allergenic dog this summer
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We are looking for someone who loves kids, is creative and loves to play, is neat and reliable. Also, you will be driving the girls from school/camp and activities so we need you to have your own reliable car that is suitable for children to ride in.
