Please describe your family:
My husband and I are both in our early 30s. We have twin boys who will turn two in August and one baby on the way (due in late November). My husband is Native American and is in charge of development for a Foundation. He has a Master\'s Degree in Education and is also working on his MBA. He is a former middle school teacher. I currently work very part-time (roughly 20 hours per month) writing an e-newsletter. I am from Georgia and my husband is from Montana, but we have lived in and around Boulder for almost seven years. We met as ski instructors in Big Sky in our mid-twenties. We love spending time outdoors, seeing live music (especially bluegrass) and traveling - although, we do a lot less since having the boys! We are also a very natural minded and health/nutrition-focused family.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are hoping to find someone who can watch the boys several days a week while I work and run errands. I would also like to find someone who would be willing to join me in taking the boys to do activities outside of the home - things like swimming, playing at the park, going to museums and such are much easier with a second set of eyes and hands!

We have twin boys who will turn two at the end of August. We are expecting one more baby on November 20.
Describe your home setting: My husband, two children and I live in a three-story, four bedroom town home. Although, we do not have a huge yard, our town home backs to open space and is 20 yards from trails that connect to endless trails! We also have a neighborhood playground. We are on the Louisville/Lafayette line, so we mainly go Louisville to parks and restaurants.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We would love for our new nanny to help with light housekeeping (including some laundry, dishes and cleaning up after boys). Also, we primarily cook our meals, especially for the boys, so we could like that to continue. Shopping on rare occasions - maybe when the baby arrives.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We would love for our new nanny to focus on educational, creative and outdoor activities! Since they are not attending daycare and I am a first time mom with no teaching experience, we are hoping that the new nanny can really work with them on developmental and educational skills/activities to help prepare them for pre-school/school. They also love spending time outside! My hope is to join the new nanny in taking them outside of the home to participate in activities, such as the pool, museums, etc., that might be difficult for me to do alone.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
An experienced nanny with an early childhood education degree (or similar) or working towards one is preferable.

We are looking for someone to work part-time, either two longer days or three shorter days - around 16 - 20 hours or so.

$17-$20/hour DOE, no benefits. We also will need to discuss taxes.

No pets.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Reliability! We have had issues with unreliable help in the past that has made scheduling very difficult. We also hope to find someone who is energetic and patient - taking care of young twins can be very taxing, but these cute guys are worth it!
