We are a close-knit, fun-loving and sunny-by-nature family. The nuclear family includes mom, dad, two kids and a friendly cat. The kids grandmother and aunt are also in the area and a big part of our lives.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Dad works full-time and Mom works part-time from home. We need help to enable Mom to get work done and enable each of the kids to get a good amount of one on one attention and time for daily fun! Also, Mom has recently been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and the extra support of a loving, knowledgeable presence to help with the kids is invaluable.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Girl, just turned for years old and Boy, just turned two yeasr old. However, the nanny would only care for one child at a time, not both together. Either one child will be sleeping or Mom will be engaged with one while the nanny is with the other.
Describe your home setting: Home on a serene cul-de-sac with a big backyard, a neighborhood pool, walking trails and park.

If time allows, very light housekeeping and cooking. But if all the time is spent engaging with the kids, that is wonderful too!

Reading, going to the park, doing art projects, finding the joy and adventure in simple everyday outings, going on walks around the neighborhood, helping the one year old boy with his afternoon nap routine

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
This is a long-term position. We prefer a one-year commitment, minimum. We ideally need a nanny for the hours of 1:30-6:00 pm M-F, so roughly 23 hrs/wk. But we can offer up to 30 hrs/wk if needed.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$16-$18/hr. All major holidays will be off, and vacation time during the summer available if desired. Salary demands are negotiable, as are benefits.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
One very friendly, relaxed and tolerant Burmese cat.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
First and foremost, we are looking for someone who loves being with and helping to raise children. We would like the nanny to be an important attachment figure for our kids. Enthusiasm, responsibility, dependability, a high energy level and a big heart are important attributes to us.
