We are an Australian family that recently moved to Boulder. My husband works in advertising and my children attend a Waldorf school.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
I am going to Australia soon and am looking for an experienced nanny that can manage picking up my children, preparing dinner and will play with them in an engaging & caring manner in my absence. I am also looking for someone that would potentially comment working with us before I leave and offer temporary weekly care two afternoon/evenings a week. This would be general help with my children.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
1 boy, 9 - He's creative, loved dinosaurs, playing Monopoly, and exploring nature. 1 girl, 4 - She's very into mermaids, unicorns and horse, but can happily play with dinosaurs. She loves to dance.
Describe your home setting: We live in a house. Parents are married. Our home is about 10-15mins out of Boulder in a semi-country side setting.

Light housekeeping, cooking for my children, bathing my youngest, occasionally picking the kids up from school, occasionally feeding the cat.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
I love you her to read with them and to them, play outdoors, go to the park, be prepared to dress up and play boardgames.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR. A genuine love of children and child care. To be engaging, able to firmly discipline, yet do so with care.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Initially the job will be for about 10hours a week. When I'm in Australia for 10 days it will be longer. Upon my return, the hours may be 15, then back to 10hrs.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Up to $20 per hour. Holidays off. Performance bonus.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Yes, one cat
