Dad is a consultant and mom is a school social worker. We have 8 month old boy/girl twins.

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
The schedule needed is Monday through Friday – hours will be M, T, F 8.30am-3.30pm, W 8.30am-5pm and Th 8.30am-4pm. Guaranteed 37 hours per week with flexibility to work later hours some weeks. A nanny who is able and willing to work extra occasional evenings and weekends would be ideal.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Alastair is an easy-going, happy boy who loves to eat! Sophie is fun-loving, active and likes attention. Both babies love to play, read, interact with everyone and enjoy being outside for walks.

Describe your home setting: We live in a single-family home in a family-oriented, newer development in Louisville. Walking distance to downtown Louisville as well as Waneka Lake and several trails.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Looking for someone who will cook and prepare baby meals, clean baby laundry and clean bottles. Entertain with activities and clean up afterwards. Requires car for transportation to occasional appointments.

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We want to create a loving, safe environment for the babies. Looking for a nanny who will focus on engaging the babies in interactive and creative activities that foster curiosity and development. Daily walks and reading time are important parts of our day.

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR/First Aid.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
37-40 hours per week. Commitment from end of September through end of May, with possibility of renewing again August 2014.

How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Hourly rate $16.50-18. 7 statutory holidays. 8 paid days off over Christmas/New Year. Additional 10 days off over Thanksgiving/spring breaks - can be taken unpaid or nanny can make up hours (~2 pw).

Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
No pets.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Nanny needs to be reliable, patient, kind, consistent and fun-loving. A self-motivator and someone who will work closely with the parents is necessary.
