Hello. My wife and I are in search of a nanny to help us with our 16-month-old daughter. We have some special circumstances and are hoping to find someone who will work with us for an extended period of time and be as sensitive to her specific environmental needs as we are. Our daughter has FPIES (Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome). This means she is highly sensitive to food proteins. She is still exclusively breast fed and my wife is on a highly restricted diet. A potential nanny would need to be open to following certain rules before coming to our home, and while she is here, that help prevent unintentional reactions. Some of these would include not wearing make-up or any face products, not applying lotion, and using a specific laundry detergent (which we are happy to provide). We are hoping to find someone to come 3-5 days a week. Our daughter is a happy beautiful girl and is a delight to be around. She loves to read and we have collected an immense library of children\\\'s books. She will have a feeding tube temporarily in the next week and may need one for longer term use. Our daughter is a very loving fun 17 month old. She loves books and playing music. She is a great communicator and strong willed.
Describe your home setting: We live in a townhome that is a clean safe environment and there is a lot of time spent inside playing and laughing. There is lovely open space and trails all around to take walks and rides in the wagon.
