Please describe your family:
We are a fun, active liberal Boulder family living right near the open space. We love music, art, the outdoors and encourage our kids to participate in it all. We are a dog loving family but are known to rescue all kinds of injured or abandoned animals. We are mostly vegetarian but will eat chicken or turkey or fish several times a week. We are easy to be with and have had long term relationships with our previous nannys.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We would like a nanny for our family because we just can't do it all alone. Both adults work in/out of the home and its difficult to keep up with meals, laundry, light cleaning, play etc. An additional set of hands as well as a fun, genuine kid-loving and dog loving adult with our similar values would be a great addition.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have 3 kids. The two girls are ages 5 and 7 and will be entering kindergarten and 2nd grade in August. The 20 month old boy is at home full time and needs an awesome playmate for activities in and out of the home.

Light housekeeping, laundry for kids, cooking for kids and/or family but we can all do that together too, cleaning up around main floor daily, picking kids up occasionally, shopping occasionally, maybe help organizing toys and games around the house
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Reading, painting, playing in the garden, walks, going to the park, going to activities, general playing, having fun, playing music, dancing
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Someone who is fun and attentive and can problem solve. Someone who can drive and is fairly independent. Someone creative and also organized. Someone who can read a situation and know when its time to give space to the kids or adults in the home. Someone who is honest and can communicate directly with the adults.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Hours can be flexible but mostly between 8am to 6 pm. We can also work around your individual needs.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Up to $500/week plus room and board. No health benefits but we think working with our awesome family is a perk! Car for nanny personal use and one week paid vacation.

Someone who shares our values. We are compassionate, interested in local and global issues, healthy and active lifetstyle. Someone who loves being around kids and having fun but is also responsible and respectful. We like to have friends over and would prefer a nanny who enjoys the company too.
