My husband and I just had our first baby (a boy!), named Jax. We are fun and laid back but we are also new parents and learning as we go. We have a great sense of humor and value open communication.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
A kind, nurturing person who has experience with newborns and infants. We view this as the most important position and are looking for someone that wants become part of family. We are interested in someone that will love our son and play with him, read to him, teach him new things but will know how to keep him safe and help him understand boundaries.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have one six week old boy named Jax who needs lots of snuggles and love.
Describe your home setting: We live in the suburbs in a one family house with a big backyard. We live in a development that has a playground and a community pool with a small little lake that is great for walks!

Light housekeeping/keeping things neat, child's laundry and meal preparation, grocery shopping
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
I'm open to suggestions for ideas. Right now there's a lot of eating and sleeping going on but walks, reading, playing and other newborn activities.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
I'm looking for someone who is certified in infant CPR and first aid and has had the tDAP and MMR vaccinations.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
40 hours per week M-F between 8AM and 5:30PM
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$18-$20/hour. Will offer 1week paid vacation, 3 PTO sick days and the following paid holidays: Thnx T/F, Xmas Day, New year's day, 4th of July, Memorial and Labor Day

Someone responsible and dependable. When mistakes or miscommunications happen willingness to work through the situation. Good sense of humor and a big heart.
