We are a husband and wife scientist team who just relocated to Boulder from North Carolina. Our kids, 18 months and 6 are both active, articulate boys who love to make people laugh.

We will both be starting full time work in Boulder.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have two great sons, an 18 month old, who is a curly headed hedonist, and a precocious almost-6 year-old, who just started first grade. We will need full time care for our 18 month old and after school care for our 6 year old.
Describe your home setting: We are in a house in a suburb of South Boulder.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Mainly childcare and child related housekeeping. These duties include doing the kids' laundry twice a week, washing any dishes generated during the day, helping keep child related chaos contained, keeping diapers, etc stocked in home and in diaper bag, keeping interior of car clean and tidy, preparing lunches for both children, and putting away clean dishes every morning.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Reading! Art, singing, baby gym and singing class, park, swimming, outdoor excursions.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
8:30 to 5:30, 5 days a week. Long term position, 1 year.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
We pay $30 to 39K annually. We also offer $2000 annually to go towards health insurance.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
We have one elderly dog that will be kept locked away during working hours.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone very reliable, who shows up on time and gives us plenty of notice ahead of time if she will be missing work.
Additional comments:
Nanny must have bank account so we can arrange for direct deposit of payment. Payment will be made bimonthly.
