Our home is bursting with laughter and love! After 10 years of marriage we decided to add some little tykes to keep us smiling and laughing for the many years ahead. We now have two young children and we enjoy every minute we get to spend with them. We consider it a great joy and privilege to help them grow into the best versions of themselves. When the kids are around we keep the TV off, the sugar put away and enjoy a vegetarian diet full of fruits and veggies.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for a nanny to provide an engaging, loving and healthy environment for our children while we are pursuing professional careers. Although we cannot be with our kids during the workday, we embrace our role as parents and are looking for someone to continue to nurture them while we are away.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our 3 year old daughter is very sweet and social. She has excellent language skills and loves to read books and engage in imaginative play. Our son will turn 1 in mid-July. He is a happy crawler who likes to giggle and play. Our daughter is enamored with her little brother and is eager for him to be a playmate. Both kids take 1 nap at the same time each day.
Describe your home setting: We live together in a single family home in a great neighborhood in northeast Longmont. There are several young families around us and we often bump into them outside or at neighborhood parks.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Our primary focus is providing amazing care for our young children. Additionally, we ask that our nanny keep the house picked up after day-time activities and help with dinner meal prep or cooking. We pre-prepare day-time meals for the kids and provide recipes and groceries for dinners.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We are looking for someone who is fully engaged with the kids - exploring and encouraging them in the things that interest them and keep them learning. Our daughter loves reading, music, cooking, playing outside and imaginative play. She is inquisitive and revels in conversation and explanations of the world around her. And please do not forget to include our son in the fun. He is eager for opportunities to safely explore objects and the world around him and is a sponge for language, even if he isn't talking yet.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Approximately 47 hours a week, long-term.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Base rate of $13 to $14 an hour, with overtime paid at 1.5x base rate. We also provide 10 days (2 weeks) PTO annually.
