We are fun, energetic family of 6!! Dad is lawyer turned entrepreneur and mom is an event production contractor. We both come from big extended families and we love just spending time together. Giggling, creative play, impromptu performances and dance parties are frequently found in our house. We love to read books, go to the park and library and have fun.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We would be willing to split the time with two great people!
The schedule currently is Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am-6pm and Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays from 3pm-6pm. We need a person to pick up the kids from school on those 3 days and bring them home, so a solid driving record is important! Our minivan would be available for that purpose. We only need someone until the end of June when my work contract is up, but we could possibly use someone starting in Sept again, so if you are looking for a long term position we could talk about how that would work out.
We need someone who is fun, energetic and reliable. We want someone who is willing to see each of our children as individuals and address their needs. 4 kids is a challenge and we would need someone who is confident in their own abilities to handle the day to day activities.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have 3 girls and a boy. Our oldest is a helpful, feisty 2nd grader, who loves to help out and is like a little mother, she is also too smart for her own good and has a wild imagination.
We have identical twin girls who are 5 1/2, they are super loving children, they love to hug and be held. They go to gymnastics once a week. Love to do crafts and play make believe.
Our youngest is a 2 1/2 yr old boy, who is trying desperately to keep up with his big sisters. He tries to copy everything they do and you will often find him in a princess dress, chasing them with one of his trains! Our oldest is in school all day so you would only have her from 3pm to 6pm and she often is at a play date or at drama class.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We would be thrilled to find a nanny who is an organized self starter willing to offer help with dishes, laundry, general picking up around the house, and organizing, especially the kids rooms and toys. We want our nanny to feel confident about preparing healthy snacks and meals for our children, and to place importance on feeding the children well balanced, nutritious food. We would need our nanny to pick up from school (currently 3 different schools) on Tues, Thurs, Fri. So there is a lot of time in the car, but we have great books on tape for the kids and we can talk about if it makes sense to schedule an activity to break up the driving a little.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Crafts, going to the park, riding bikes, trips to the library. I am open to any and all activities. Trips to the museum or zoo. I want my kids to enjoy being with our nanny and our to nanny enjoy being with them. Sometimes a quiet day at home with their toys is the best and other days a grand adventure is in order. I want someone who can get to know my kids well enough to know what to do on what days!

30 hours a week, Mondays and Wednesdays 8am to 6pm.

How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$18 to $19 per hour, depending on experience!

This is a new situation for our family, I have been a work from home mom for many years. So I intimately know the challenges of being at home with young kids, however the rewards are worth every last bit. We are big welcoming family and once you become part of it, there isn't anything we wouldn't do for you!
