Single mom of sisters 4 and 2 year old. They came to me as foster children and proud to say they were adopted in May 2015! We enjoy engaging in new adventures and being creative. Love outside play, reading, swimming and music/dance.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Being a single mom, it takes a lot to juggle 2 young ones and still have quality time to myself. I would like to get back to enjoying past hobbies. Hope shows some signs of her past neglect. I need a nanny that has high energy and patience to keep up with her ADHD and 4 year old behavioral challenges:-)
One possibility I am looking at is someone to pick up the girls from their schools at 4:30 and 4:45 and bring them home and help with dinner and bedtime. They go to bed by 7pm right now.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
It would be helpful to be able to cook/prepare meals for the girls and possibly run a load of their laundry if time allows. Helping girls pick up toys at the end of is something I ask of my kiddos. If there is a mess I would appreciate that it gets cleaned up which might include washing or vacuuming the floor. Possible errands with one if I am home with the other. Going with us together on outing or taking one while I take the other. My youngest is still a napper!
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
I am searching for a spontaneous, high energy, creative nanny that can engage in imaginative play, dress-up, music, dancing, random trips to the park, zoo, aquarium, butterfly pavilion, swimming pool, etc. I encourage lots of exposure to cultural experiences.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR, first aid.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
10-20 hours a week depending on need. The job is for at least a 6 month commitment.

Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
I have one dog. She is a German Shepherd who is fabulous with the kids. She was bred to be a service dog with disabilities however we have not trained her for this. I also have 2 cats.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
It would be nice to have a nanny that feels that she is a part of our family and would be willing to do things as a family such as helping me take kids on longer adventures or on family outings where I can not do the activity on my own.
Additional comments:
For weekend help I am often home getting things done around the house. I just need an awesome wing man to help with the kiddos to ensure they are having fun and enjoying their life. Other times, I would like to take advantage of "ME" time.
