I am a recently single mom of 2 girls - almost 3 years old and 1 year old. We are a healthy, happy and fun-loving family. We are conscientious and like to eat healthy.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
I am looking for a nanny a nanny 3 days a week, days are flexible and hours will be 7:30am-5pm for 2 days and 1pm-8pm for one day. Hours can be slightly flexible. Also, occasional weekend shifts if nanny is available.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
My almost 3 year old is a very talkative, energetic, curious girl and my one year old is a sweet, engaged, little one who is now walking around everywhere. They are super sweet kids and really fun to be around.
Describe your home setting: We live in South Boulder and currently their dad lives in a separate dwelling unit in the back of the house, but that will be changing soon. Our house is open and bright with a sweet back yard and garden. I love to cook so a lot of activity in our house centers around the kitchen.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
I need a nanny to help me 3 full days a week, the days are flexible/negotiable! Two of the days will be around 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and the third day will be between noon or 1 pm until 8 or 9 pm. There will also be drop off and pick up from school in downtown Boulder and occasionally taking my older daughter to gymnastics or swimming. I also need help with preparing healthy meals and snacks for the kids, cleaning up after meals, picking up toys, kids laundry, occasional grocery runs, etc. Would love someone who is available fr occasional evenings and weekends!
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
I want a nanny who feels like they are part of the family, takes initiative and jumps right in with my girls and whatever else needs to be done around the house related to the children. The ideal candidate will be in tune with the children’s needs and adjust as needed. There are times I will be around and just need an extra set of hands to help around the house or we each take one kid for an activity/outing or need help on an outing with both kids that I will be along for. The nanny should be fun, creative, spontaneous, always looking for engaging activities to do with them – spend time outside, parks, walks, dress-up, music, dance, yoga, reading books, art, cooking, etc.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
I am looking for a nanny is conscientious, creative, and intuitive and really connects with my children. I want someone that feels like they are part of our family and is a good communicator. The nanny should be flexible, laid back and kind but also can lovingly set consistent boundaries. Someone with training in Montessori or Waldorf and someone who is connected to the rhythms of the seasons and nature and encourages exploration in these realms would be great as well but not necessary!
