We both work pretty much full time, though some days we work out of the house.

We have one sweet, bright and curious 16 month old boy.
Describe your home setting: We live in a house on a quiet street. It has a nice back yard with a swing set, and we are walking distance from the arboretum and the rec center.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
A little light house keeping would be great, including keeping the dishes washed, cleaning up the toys at the end of the day, doing the baby's laundry. No shopping or errands needed.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Our ideal nanny is loving, energetic, creative in coming up with age appropriate games and activities, and likes to read books and chat with a toddler. The nanny can also play with him in the yard and walk with him to the nearby arboretum.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Infant/child CPR. Knowledge of child development would be helpful.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Close to full time. Mondays from 8 am to 6 pm, Tuesdays from 9-4, Wednesdays 8-6, Thursdays 9-4, Fridays 9-1. Some flexibility on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday hours.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$15-$18/hr. Thanksgiving week off, at least one week off for Xmas and New Year's.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
We have a beautiful and friendly Maine Coon cat.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We are looking for someone to start the week of August 24, but are flexible about the exact day.
