Our Family is very outgoing, very busy, but also a very close and loving family. The girls are truly the love of our life and we want the absolute best for them!
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for someone who is very loving and caring, who can ensure that the girls feel safe and supported by not only us but the nanny. Someone who is a true part of our family and an extension of me when I am not around. I need someone who has initiative when the girls are playing or completing homework to pick up a broom and sweep, to get the laundry done, meals planned and prepped and groceries bought. I truly need not only a nanny but a "house manager". Someone who can also think outside the box and think ahead, for example when a birthday invitation is received, there is a RSVP to the party and a present bought and wrapped. I also need someone who is active with the girls and agrees there is a limit to TV.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
2 sweet girls. They are 7.5 years and 9 years old and they are in 2nd and 3rd grade. They are very sweet girls and love to play, they are creative and love crafts. They are fairly easy going, like all kids they will test you. :) Need someone who is patient and calm and at the same time has some authority to make sure that the girls know who is boss! :)
Describe your home setting: House in a great setting that allows the kids and nanny to feel safe on our cul-de-sac. We have a community pool that is open until it is too cold, so the girls can exercise some after school. There are many friends in the neighborhood to play with and be active with.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
I am looking for the number one priority to be the girls taken care and feel loved and safe. I then need help managing the house. Light housework, laundry, organization of the calendar, shopping for groceries and meal prep and making meals for the family. I see someone being almost an extension of me when I am not able to perform the duties.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Homework, reading, outdoor activities, driving them to and from their activities after school and getting creative with them so that there is not a need for any screen time. Get them into cooking, baking, measuring ingredients, etc... learning and playing together!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
25 to 35 hr per week, split between before school and after school with the errands and other household duties done while the kids are at school. Some evenings overnights, average 1 x per month.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$16 - $20 Based on experience.

No, but we would like to get another dog in the next 6 to 9 months
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone who is flexible and willing to jump in and help, a real self starter. Someone who values open communication and working with us to raise happy, healthy children! Our goal is to have someone we can count on for at least 12 months if not longer!
