Family of three (Mom, Dad, & baby Ashley) laid back crew who likes a balance of indoor/outdoor time. We also have two dogs who are pretty laid back as well.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Looking for a nanny to cover part-time while we work. Tues and Thurs and possibly every other Wed or so if available. Hours are approximately 9 am to 4 pm.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Ashley is almost 5 months old and the only baby
Describe your home setting: House in Lafayette that backs up to open space. Has a little bit of a rural feel to it and also close to old town Lafayette. Nice back porch. Tri-level with 6 steps to upstairs and down. Mom leaves for work at 9:30am (Dad earlier). Dad returns from work ~3:45pm.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Nothing much, just feeding Ashley from prepared bottles. Playing with Ashley,helping her with things to stimulate her development. Perhaps washing baby bottles. Open to more if interested.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Ashley is just an infant so age appropriate. Maybe go to the park, read, play, walks, tummy time.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR required as well a experience with infants. Great attendance. Ability to handle a (for the most part) mellow, happy baby who has occasional baby crying and normal baby challenges. Overall a pretty relaxed baby!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Open to either 14 or 16 hours for the Tues and Thurs schedule per week. Tues and Thurs are required, occasional Wed's if available. Long term would be a plus!
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$15-$18 hour, depending on experience. Possible use of an SUV with child seat if needed.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Two dogs, One medium sized, one large, both are friendly!
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone eager to work with an infant who is comfortable with dogs. Willing to do tummy time and engage in baby type development including sitting up, playing with toys with baby, reading, things to positively stimulate the baby. Positive attitude. Ability to handle stress that comes with an infant.
