We are a family of 5 - Mom, Dad, 6 1/2 year old girl (1st grade), 4 1/2 boy (Pre-K), and 16 month old boy. We also have a little miniature schnauzer dog who is non-shedding and 8lbs. Mom is a nurse and Dad is a PA. We are new to the area, just moved here last week from the Washington, DC area and are super excited to explore this new-to-us part of the country!
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Mom is starting a new job as a nurse and Dad is working full time. We need someone who not only fits in well with our family but is flexible on scheduling and able to transport our oldest to/from school as needed. Our immediate need is Jan 4-8th from 7:30 am ~ 5:30 pm while Mom completes general orientation at the hospital. After that would be approx 3-5 weeks of 24-36 hour weeks on varying days while Mom completes clinical orientation. In approx Feb/March, hours would reduce to once per week. Our children loved their previous nanny and we hope to form a lasting relationship with a new nanny here in Colorado!
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
6 1/2 year old girl - First Grade in Windsor schools
4 1/2 year old boy - PreK (not sure which school yet)
16 month old boy - enjoys playing, walks, playing, stacking blocks and knocking them down, and (as we have learned) anything that has to do with snow!
Describe your home setting: We are in a rental home in Fort Collins in a great little neighborhood. We are building our new home in Windsor and expect to move into that one this spring (if the weather cooperates!)

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
First and foremost caring for our kids and ensuring a safe, loving environment while Mom & Dad are at work. Able to drive our oldest to/from school as needed. School is in Windsor (approx 15 minute drive from our rental home).
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Our kids enjoy spending time with each other at the park, playgrounds, exploring outside, crafts. They have great imaginations and are each different personalities.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Experience with toddlers. Speech/language development would be a great help!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?

$15-$18 based on experience, qualifications.

Caring, warm individual who can form a bond with our kids. Flexibility in schedule is a must as we are new to the area and still figuring out work/school schedules.
