C.H.- $18-$20/hr F.T. Nanny for 2 Sweet Infants N. Boulder - Jan. 2016

Nanny Job Details

Job ID: 5403
Location: Boulder, CO

Please describe your family:
We are two active, busy and loving families looking for a nanny share for our sweet babies as their Mamas head back to work. The babies (daughter Leni born 10.8.15 and son Julian born 9.10.15) are the first children for both families. All four parents work most days, though there will be occasions where one of us will be home or in and out during the day.

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for a nanny to love and care for our little ones as if they were her own, so that we can head back to work with the confidence and peace of mind that they are in good hands. We want someone who will shower them with attention and affection, and go beyond just meeting their needs. We are looking for someone with experience in caring for multiple infants. The ideal candidate will have expertise in infant development (speech, motor skills, etc) and will find ways to educate, enrich and entertain our babes and fill their days with fun and love.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Leni and Julian are happy, healthy and cuddly babies. They are both pretty easy going and are flexible with routine at this stage. : )

Describe your home setting: The nanny share will primarily be hosted out of the home of one of the families, which is in North Boulder. The other family lives in South Boulder, but since one parent works out of the home there, we will mainly be using the North Boulder location so the nanny and kids can have the run of the place. Both homes are comfortable and clean and our neighborhoods are great for getting outside, taking walks and enjoying the lawns and playgrounds, all within close walking distance.

We are interested in the following:
Nanny, Permanent

Full-Time/Part-Time?
Full-time

How long do you need a Nanny?
1 Year

Live-in/Live-out?
Nanny, live-out

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
The priority of focus is absolutely the babies, but light housework associated with their care would be great (e.g. washing bottles, preparing snacks, occasional laundry if needed). We would appreciate light daily journaling of their activities, to track progress, changes, activities, and anything else of note. We would also really love occasional text and picture updates to us while we are at work!

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We want our nanny to plan fun age appropriate activities to help the little ones learn and grow. Exposure to music, language, dance, movement, are ideal, as is infant sign language. We also value time outdoors, so we would encourage our nanny to take the babes outside for walks and play, weather permitting. As they grow, more involved activities would be great, but for now, the focus is on making sure they feel secure, happy and loved.

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Infant First Aid and CPR, up to date on all vaccinations. Additional early childhood certification/s are a bonus.

$18-$20/hr (pending experience) + vacation and holidays. Performance bonuses.

Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
The main host family has two friendly cats!
