J.G. - TEMP - $15-$20/hr - Tuesday & Thursday (all day) for Happy 8 Month Old!

Nanny Job Details

Job ID: 5415
Location: Boulder, CO

Please describe your family:
Mom and baby girl (8 mo ). Dad is very involved and supportive but does not live with us. Both parents are very hands on with our baby in learning how to meet her needs and encouraging her development at her own natural pace. We enjoy having fun, laughing and loving in an open, joyful environment!

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Mom works full time, although hours are flexible. Dad has been with baby up until this point in her life and he will now be working in Denver several days a week, so we need care to fill in the times neither of us can be with her.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
1 baby girl - 8 months old - joyful, happy, loves to be social, very in tune with others around her.

Describe your home setting: The home is a 1 bedroom condo in downtown Boulder just a block to Pearl St. It has a fairly spacious living area and the bedroom is quite large. Lots of love and nurturing put into the space in the 6 years that mama has lived here.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Light housekeeping would be great - mostly cleaning up after bottles and snacks, some baby's laundry, prepping/feeding some solid foods.

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We would like a nanny who engages actively with baby, plays with her, gets down on her level, sits with her and interacts as she plays on the floor, helps her to learn more about her own body (sitting, rolling, scooting…) and the environment around her, takes walks with baby in carrier (or stroller), sings, dances around, laughs, and makes silly faces and noises. Basic baby signing is a plus! It's also very important that you can gently ease baby down for naps with patience (and likely lots of bouncing on the ball).
