Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We have two young children and while I am a stay at home mom, I am also caring for my mother with stage 4 cancer. She is living with us which is a great blessing, but also provides some stresses in taking care of her day-to-day needs and getting her to doctor appointments etc. I just need some help with the kids to give myself some breaks, take care of errands and chores and provide a bit more peace in our household.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Girl- turning 4 yr. in October and a Boy- turning 8month/o in October
Describe your home setting: We live in a home in the suburbs of Longmont. My husband works from a home office and I am a stay at home mom. My mother is also in our home but at this point mostly stays in her room.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Perhaps some light housekeeping and cooking if desired, but mostly spending time with the kids.

Anything physical for the 4 year old, outdoors when possible, yoga, meditation (we're trying!), anything artistic, musical

Enthusiasm, a calm demeanor, interested in mindful living if possible, energy (the 4 year old is quite energetic and baby is beginning to crawl), flexibility, creativity
Additional comments:
This is a very difficult time in our family's life so we hope to find someone who fits right into our life to take a bit of burden off. my mom's illness has brought great stress and worry into our world, but also great appreciation for life. while we've managed for quite some time on our own, we are at a point where we (my husband and i) need to have time to take care of ourselves too, which is the main reason for searching for a nanny. we are very flexible in terms of hours and timing, but are constrained by budget so cannot offer a great number of hours at this point. so we hope to find someone who can work with a bit of a flexible schedule. we are a very loving family and can't wait to meet a nanny who will bring even more joy and love into our home!
