We are a family with 2 energetic children, ages 1.5 yrs and 5.5yrs. We share our home with 1 old fat cat and 1 young silly dog. We love to be outside, ride bikes, play a lot and read tons of books.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
My husband works full time and I work part time. We are looking for someone to care for our toddler at home and to pick up our kindergartener after school. During the summer we would love someone who is willing to take them on outings to parks, the zoo, museums and the aquarium.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our son is a kind, energetic soul who loves nature and animals. Our daughter is a spritely, affectionate toddler who already has a lot to say!
Describe your home setting: We live in a house with a finished basement/play area, a shady fenced back yard with a garden and many nearby parks and open spaces. The elementary school our son attends is less than a mile away and we usually bike or walk. There are many kids in our area and our neighbors are wonderful and always willing to help if needed.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Picking up our son after school, the children's laundry, cooking/preparing food for the children and some vacuuming if time permits.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Going for walks to the park, playing outside, reading books, role playing, arts and crafts. We are open to new ideas and any activities our nanny is excited about sharing with them. Once everyone is comfortable with each other, outings to museums, the zoo and the aquarium would be fun.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR.
