We are a family 3 - my husband, myself, and our 12 month old daughter. We value time spent outdoors, intellectual stimulation, laughter, love, and quality time.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are seeking someone who can provide loving, stimulating, nurturing care for our daughter, with one-on-one attention, while we are at work. Our ideal candidate will grow to be a part of our family on a long-term basis and will be an excellent role model, sharing and helping instill common values. Ensuring safety and being responsible are essential.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our daughter is 12 months old. She is full of energy, enjoys exploring, and is very interactive. She is sweet, inquisitive, and has a sense of humor!
Describe your home setting: We live in a single family, detached, two-story home. Dad works from home an average of 1-2 days/week, but care is still needed during these times. We live near open space trails and several parks.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We would like light housework associated with care of our daughter, such as cleaning up the kitchen after meals, laundry when her hamper is full, and putting toys away. Additionally, we would like someone who down the road can take our daughter to activities she may be enrolled in, or to spend time outside or on approved outings.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
In addition to day to day tasks including diapering, naps, and meals, we are looking for a nanny who can provide a fun yet intellectually stimulating environment. This may include one on one play, reading stories, making crafts, spending time outdoors, and listening to music. We would welcome creativity and variety.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
First aid/CPR. Would prefer that you have annual vaccination for influenza (flu) and up to date Tdap vaccine (tetanus and pertussis). Applicants must be legal to work in the US.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Approximately 35 hours/week, daytime Monday-Friday. Occasional additional hours.

$15-20/hr depending on experience. Paid holidays and paid vacation.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Quality of fit with our family will be key in the selection process. Open communication is critical. Formal education or training in childcare, education, or a related field would be preferred.
