We are a loving, active and busy family originally from the Midwest. Above all, we value the time with our daughter. Our family also loves reading, swimming, music, hiking, playing soccer, playing with blocks and trains, and doing art projects. The parents travel regularly for their jobs and the dad works from home when not traveling.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for a Nanny House Manager for our three-year-old daughter to care for her while we are working. Our wonderful nanny of two years is leaving Colorado. Our daughter attends preschool three days a week from 8 am until 1 pm and thus we are looking for someone that can also help us around the house during these hours when she is at school. During the summers, our daughter does not attend school.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have one child that means the world to us. She is three years old. She is very active, happy and creative. She does best with consistent schedules and lots of communication. She loves music, running, doing arts projects and is quite inventive.
Describe your home setting: We live in a two-story house in a great North Boulder neighborhood. We have a small backyard that is perfect for playing soccer, catch, or playing in the sandbox. We also live within walking distance to a wonderful park with a playground.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We are looking for a proactive Nanny House Manager whose primary focus is our daughter. We value safety above all else and are interested in someone that shares this value. Additional tasks we would request while our daughter is at school include grocery shopping, running errands, laundry, cooking, cleaning, and being proactive.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We are looking for a Nanny House Manager to help our daughter get ready for school, pick her up from school and drive her to various activities. During the days when she does not have school, we are looking for a Nanny House Manager to help our daughter spend time being creative and active. We do not allow screen time and are looking for someone that loves to read, plan art projects or enjoys playing catch or soccer outside with our daughter. Our daughter is also learning to write and understand the concept of numbers and we would value a Nanny House Manager that could spend a short time each day reinforcing these skills.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
We are looking for candidates that have CPR / first aid training, fluent in English, a non-smoker, and a clean driving record. We value candidates that have previous Nanny experience with a family for at least one full year along with excellent references. We would love to interiew candidates with multiple years of experience as well. Up to date vaccinations including Tdap and the flu shot are required. We are happy to pay for these for our Nanny House Manager. The Nanny House Manager must be willing to have a drug test before employment. Additional credentials are a plus!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Hours are 7am until 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. We are interested in candidates that can commit to a full year and potentially may want to stay with us beyond this.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Pay range between $880-$1050/wk depending on exp. (includes overtime pay for over 40 hours). Benefits include two weeks paid vacation plus nine days of paid national holidays. Mileage is reimbursed.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
We do not have any pets in our house.

We have decided to work with Nanny/House manager's because we value the very best care and education for our daughter. We are looking for someone who will be compassionate, understanding, patient, loving and kind. The ideal candidate values safety, is responsible, on-time, trustworthy and has excellent references as a full-time Nanny for children and House manager experience. We believe that caring for children is one of the most important professions in society and we are looking for someone who will become part of our family and play an important role in our daughter's life.
