Experience: I have been taking care of children since I was 12 years old and I have been a Childcare Specialist and Professional Nanny for over 20+ years. I have been a Nanny/House Manager for over 7 families here in Boulder I have stayed with most of the families for over three years, the longest for 5 years and developed deeply loving relationships with both the children and their parents I have also been a teacher of creative movement for children, Theater and Contemporary Dance, among other things and have traveled throughout the world to teach and perform. I was also a full time Dance Educator at a Charter School which was also a Performing Arts College Prep school based in Classical Education. I taught, basically, the entire school of 600 kiddos from 1st to 12th grade a full Dance Education Curriculum. I have quite a bit of experience as an educator and creative movements instructor with all age groups from babies including movement therapy, occupational therapy, creative movement to young adults in Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop Techniques as well as Improvisation, among others. My mother was one of the first founders and Teacher Coordinators of a children's center in Middlebury Vermont. At one point, our home was a living, energetic and delightfully magical setting for the care of children. Since receiving my MFA in Dance at CU at Boulder, I have been teaching children creative dramatics and movement for over 25 years. I love being surrounded by children's boundless energy and contagious free spirit!

I am a kind loving, enthusiastic creative and fun-loving teacher. I have a natural talent in working with and relating to children in unique and creative ways and am able to form deep bonds with the children I have worked with. I maintain a caring, compassionate and fun-filled attitude throughout the day while connecting with children on a personal level and helping them express themselves in effective and powerful ways. I know how to have fun with children while keeping them safe and helping them learn healthy ways to interact with each other and the world around them. I genuinely enjoy interacting with children; seeing the world through their eyes, teaching as well as learning from them, encouraging their self-esteem and growth.
