Experience: I've been babysitting since I was 12, I had a steady babysitting job with the same family all through high school including the summers, I have been a nanny for several families all with different age children, I've been an outdoor lab leader, middle school youth leader, camp counselor, I teach handicap skiing with Children's Hospital, and I've helped in the church nursery. Experience with the following age groups: Infant through high school Interests and hobbies:I love the outdoors and sports, especially soccer, skiing, snowboarding, camping and hiking. I like to sing, I'm studying to be an elementary teacher, and I love volunteering, especially with mission trips and the Denver Rescue Mission. Describe your childcare style:My childcare style is based on having fun, learning new things whenever possible, learning to respect others and knowing right from wrong. Once I get to know the kids I can judge what kinds of activities to do with them and what new things we can do. As much as I like to have fun and be adventurous, I also know when it's time to be serious. The main thing is I want the kids to be able to trust me so we can really connect. What activities do you like to do with children:I like to take them to the park, museum, zoo, swimming, read, play board games, do crafts, and bake.
