Experience: I have been a childhood educator and nanny on and off for over the last 20 years. I recently was an contract visiting art teacher at a local alternative school where I worked with middle and high school students. Before that I worked with non profits in the field internationally and locally on sustainability and clean energy. A have focused on impacts and climate change awareness. My background includes working as a Ski instructor for children the ages of 2 through 20 years. In 2009 and 2010 I developed my own art program, where I taught children about different cultures, animals, and plants through creative art. I have worked as a nanny with newborns through 18 years of age. My specialty is working with families who are going through transitions, a move, separation, illness, divorce, etc. I am fluent in cultural communication and peaceful mediation. I have remained close with all of the families I have worked with over the years. As a mentor and nanny for children of all ages I find working with children incredibly rewarding. I illustrated my first childrens book in 2007 on India and Yoga. I am currently working on a new childrens book series. I have taught Mommy and Me Yoga and am certified yoga instructor.
