The nanny has the following experience:
My experience began early, having two younger brothers indebted me to endless hours of babysitting growing up. I also lived in a cul-de-sac full of kids, ALL younger than me. As you can imagine, I was the "go to girl" for babysitting jobs. I realized at a young age how much I enjoyed nurturing young children. I continued to take on child care gigs through college, working as a camp counselor at several equestrian camps on my summers off, as well as an overnight all girls camp for 2 months. The defining moment in realizing that children and the care of children was my heart's passion was when I moved to Uganda last summer to work with orphans and traumatized children of war. It was then that I realized how much I truly loved being a caretaker for young souls.

The nanny has experience with the following age groups:
Ages 1 to 17

The nanny has the following interests and hobbies:
I love to stay active. Which is great since I live in Boulder! Yoga, running, horse back riding, skiing, you name it and I am in for it. But I also realize the importance of kicking back, grabbing a latte and losing yourself in a good book. This rings true with children as well, play hard then rest hard.

Level of education:
Bachelors of Arts with a Degree in Public Relations from Georgia Southern University.

Do you have additional skills or certifications:
CPR/First Aid

Describe your childcare style:
I am extremely patient, affectionate and believe that you can never laugh enough! I also know the importance of structure and stability and firmly believe in giving children a routine that they can account for and be held accountable for.

What activities do you like to do with children:
I love to read, color, cook (I LOVE COOKING!), play outside, take walks, trips to the zoo or other outdoor activities. I believe that an active child is a happy child.

Why are you interested in working as a nanny?
Being around children is important to me. I love seeing the innocence in a child and watching them grow up and realize their own strengths and talents. I love to take care of others, I always have and always will.

What qualities are important in a nanny?
1. Patience 2. Good sense of humor 3. Energy 4. Affection 5. Creativity 6. Understanding
