Experience: I have worked with children for over 20 years as a babysitter and in childcare for over 10 years and as a nanny. Virtually I have been working with children my entire life always excited to be with them and interacting with every child I have come into contact with.

Experience with the following age groups: I have experience with birth to 11, my primary experience with birth to 6. I had my own classroom of 5 toddlers, so am good with multiple children and am easily able to meet developmental needs of children of different ages.

Interests and hobbies:I love being outdoors and going swimming and making art pieces with nature. I love to read and to bake. I love engaging children in many different ways. I love digging in the mud, making snow angels and painting with hands and a variety of materials. I am not afraid to get messy and get right in there with the children.

Describe your childcare style:You will see me interacting with your children and on the floor with them or playing games with them. I am always actively engaged with the child and challenging them to think for themselves as well. The children I nanny typically form long term bonds with me. I am very loving, caring and patient. I believe in focusing on the strengths of the child and re-directing and teaching them. My role is that of guide to help the child learn about the world. I give children lots of verbal skills helping them to learn to get what they want and how to express emotions.

What activities do you like to do with children:I love to be outdoors and go hiking and exploring or playing at a park or digging in the sand. I also love adventures to go and fly kites, make kites, go to the rec center, go and look for animal tracks and listening to animal sounds. I love being silly and funny.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I love watching children explore the world around them and I love being part of that.
