Experience: I have been nannying since I was sixteen. I started out with a family of four kids and have worked with various age groups and family sizes. ages 4 to 12. After that I moved to Charleston, South Carolina and worked with several families. I lived in Australia and worked at a preschool and was a nanny for a family there. Since I have lived in Colorado, I have nannied for two different families. I took several education classes at CU Boulder and I am a student teaching semester short of obtaining an Elementary teaching licensure. I have decided to take a year off before finishing.

Experience with the following age groups: I have experience with all ages. I have worked with 3rd graders while participating in practicum at elementary schools. I have also worked with fifth grade, and second grade. I have worked with infants to 16 year olds in regards to child care and I am comfortable with any age group!

Interests and hobbies:I enjoy cooking, hiking, reading, riding bikes, and doing yoga. I love to travel and learn new things. Dancing and arts and crafts are some of my favorite things as well. I love animals. I like going to the beach and swimming.

Describe your childcare style:I am a loving nanny. I am very patient, kind, and gentle with children. I believe that a child learns best through kindness and compassion. I like to do things with children that help them grow and learn in a positive way. I believe that they should learn what is right and wrong, but it a loving way.

What activities do you like to do with children:I like to have fun with children. I like to do things that will engage their growing mind such as playing outside, playing games that help them learn something, read to children, ride bikes, bake cookies. I like to do things that the children like to do and let their imaginations take the lead. I also like to do things such as arts and craft and educational activities that will help them learn something.
