I understand every parent has their own methods and so does each nanny. I believe in creating a balance, and I will always respect the parents wishes. I simply intend to be a role model for the kids I nanny for and provide them with appropriate choices, a positive learning atmosphere, structure, guidance, and of course plenty of fun activities. What activities do you like to do with children:With children I love to play outside, go on hikes or walks, go swimming, go to the playground, do arts and crafts, sports, bake, watch movies, play board games, and read books. Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I enjoy working as a nanny because I love working with kids. I have a little sister who is 11 years younger than me and I loved helping my mom raise her as a kid. I have worked in the daycare environment, summer camps, and teaching snowboarding, and loved every minute of it! I prefer being a nanny because you get to know the kids on a more personal level and you really get a chance to adapt activities and such to each childs needs and desires. I love the energy and perspective on the world that kids have and I am always learning from them! What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?I think it is important for a nanny to be responsible, fun, loving, smart, creative, playful, energetic, and prepared for anything. It is also important for a nanny to be respectful respect of their self, children, and parents. Additional comments: |
