What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter? The foremost quality a nanny should have is the ability to avoid unsafe situations. This is proactive and reactive. A nanny should be able to for see what could be an unsafe situation based on knowledge and experience. A nanny should also be able to act quickly once an unsafe situation has occurred so as to diminish any negative effects. The nanny should be able to keep lines of communication open with the parents. The nanny should be able to follow the parents instructions as well as keep the parents up to date on the children's day to day events. Lastly, I believe a nanny should be able to create a positive bond with the children. It is extremely important that the children trust and like their nanny!

I love the environment I work in to be clean, so I will typically clean house during any down time. I am an energetic nanny! I am always looking for what else we could do with our day: New arts and crafts, new outdoor activities, new recipes or new activities in our community. I feel each day is an opportunity to learn about and love life!
