Describe your childcare style:I believe it is essential that we as adults provide children with enriched environments that will promote healthy and stable learning both emotional and physical. I heavily believe that it takes a community to raise a child, no individual person. It is essential all people in the childs life are consistent, patient, and reliable. I believe it is essential I as the caregiver try to allow children to think for themselves and outside of the box with different perspectives. I also will set and enforce clear boundaries and expectations of the children and can enforce this in a loving, and caring manner.

What activities do you like to do with children:I enjoy engaging and interacting with children through hands on activities. I believe children learn best through play and of their own interests and I would love to facilitate this to the needs of an individual child. I love to read books, go on outings, and play sports, work on arts and crafts, as well as overall exploring with the children I work for. I also enjoy planning ahead of time THEME weeks to do with the children.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I am interested in working as a nanny because I enjoy working with children, this is my passion. I have a natural gift for working with children and have never had any issues with prior families I have worked for. I enjoy helping children learn and grow in a fun and nurturing environment. There is a great deal of satisfaction in knowing you helped raise a child who can one day look back and remember you and know you were a part of their childhood.

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter? As a nanny it is very important you are dependable, reliable, and consistent. Children do best in routines and when they are held accountable. Parents insure their trust in a nanny as their caregiver and it is important you can be the parent when mom and dad are not around. Responsibility is huge in taking care of children. Children mimic what they see, and it is highly important I as the nanny help raise children the best way possible. It is also important to ensure the safety and well being of the child, being able to make good judgments is key in being a nanny. I believe it is also important for nannies to be able to multi-task as well as be able to change directions easily as plans may change from time to time.
