Experience: I am a professional nanny with 24 years of experience, babies and children are one of my great passions. I come from a family of six and would care for my two younger siblings when I was just three, so I guess you could say it was just my calling to do this. I have cared for many families throughout the years. Most have been one year and two were for four years and one I nannied for 10 years and I am still in contact with them and still see them and care for them.

Interests and hobbies:I love to be outside whenever possible, so I enjoy camping, seeing live music, dancing, hiking, swimming, yoga, meditation, cooking yummy organic foods, biking, doing arts and crafts,and spending time with friends and family.

Describe your childcare style:I believe that children should play and explore their environment and being outside whenever they can. I believe in being fully present with each child on their level and keeping them safe. I give them a lot of space to grow and learn on their own as well. I am kind, caring and compassionate but also lovingly firm when need be.

What activities do you like to do with children:Age appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, playing with toys, going on outings, play at the park, play ball, play dates with friends, swimming, or just getting down on the floor and playing and engaging with them.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? Because I love what I do and love spending time with the children, who are pure light and love!

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?Patience, being compassionate, loving, and fully present with them at all times, even if you are just watching them learn how to do something for themselves. Having good and open communication with the child and parents. To listen to parents style of parenting and what they want for their children.

Additional comments:I absolutely love caring and watching children grow and develop into the person that they will become. I am the whole package when caring for the little people!
