Level of education: I have my bachelors degree from Colorado State University in Health and Exercise Science. I hope to pursue my degree in Occupational Therapy in the near future.

Experience: I starting babysitting when I was 15 years old and I am still close with the same family, their oldest is now 19 years old and in the national guard! I have been a nanny and personal assistant in Steamboat for about 6 years as well. I have also worked with individuals with developmental disabilities so I am patient and very intuitive in my nature.

Experience with the following age groups: I have experience with newborns all the way up to preteens. I have extensive experience with ages 4 to 6.

Interests and hobbies:I enjoy all things outdoors. I am an avid skier, mountain biker, hiker, and traveler. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and enjoy watching educational documentaries. I love learning about the world and doing my part to make it a better place.

Describe your childcare style:I am very engaging with kids. I love laughing and being super creative in play. I am big on communication and encourage children to use their style for communicating and learning. I like to be clear, articulate, kind and direct.

What activities do you like to do with children:I love to play games, laugh, facilitate fun projects, play outside, take field trips, listen to music, and read with children.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I love children, and I have had a desk job for the last 2 years. I am too much of a people and kid person to sit at a desk anymore! I am super excited to be active and engaging with your kids young minds and will value your family relationship!

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?Safety is always first. Next is learning and fun! Flexibility is important and sticking to a schedule can be helpful, but not super critical all the time. Adapting to the needs of the child and family are important to me. If I can be an asset to that, it makes me very happy.
