Experience: I have a Masters in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education. I am finishing up a Masters in Gifted and Talented Education this spring. I currently work as a special education teacher for kindergarten through third grade students in the public school system. Prior to that I taught a half-day three year old preschool class in a public school. I have years of experience working with toddlers in a child care setting. I have nannied for multiple families with children ages 1-10. I am happy to do a "Nanny Share" and am experienced with special needs and talented and gifted!

Describe your childcare style:My childcare style is engaging and consistent. I think it is important that children spend their days excited about learning. I enjoy coming up with engaging activities and teaching academic and social skills through play. Additionally, I think it is important to have clear routines and rules to help children thrive and grow.

What activities do you like to do with children:I love finding out the interests of the children I work with. I encourage children to learn more about their passions and help them by taking them to the library or a museum to learn more and developing interest based projects. I also enjoy infusing literacy and math skills throughout the day in a play-based environment.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? Children bring joy to my life! I enjoy spending time with kids and watching them grow and develop as learners and people.
