My childcare style is always evolving, but I am consistent with approaching each child from a place of love. What activities do you like to do with children:Activities range from park and museum visits, to cooking and cleaning, as well as reading, writing, and homework activities, just to name a few! I like to smile and laugh with the children, and of course always leave room for the occasional dance party! Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? My commitment to children is never ending. I am interested and invested in understanding and developing the child's mind. I aim to work as a Child's Counselor and I use every moment I have with the child to learn and grow. I truly love being a nanny, and cannot imagine my life in another way. What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?Dependability and reliability are first, a nanny is part of the family, and therefore needs to be counted on in every situation. Compassion and love. A nanny must have a compassionate heart and come from a place of love. Working with children is such a precious gift, and should be respected and treated as one. Patience and Flexibility. When working with children, patience is required to support the child in the best possible way. There is also constant flux when working with children, therefore flexibility is crucial! Energetic and Fun loving! A nanny should love to play and explore. Children are constantly seeking, constantly learning, and a nanny should be prepared to be just as energetic and playful as the child. Additional comments:My work in the field of childcare has exposed me to many different situations and circumstances, and through the many years, my love and commitment to working with children has only increased. I feel that it is a calling of mine to work with and do my best to understand the inner workings of the, at times, very complex mind of the child. I truly love being a nanny, and am looking forward to meeting your family! |
