Experience: I've been an instructor and a supervisor for a summer day camp with kids aged 4-18. I've also been an after school instructor for a public school district. I have worked as a direct care staff at a residential treatment facility. I have also been a field staff and have lead outdoor trips for at risk youth. Experience with the following age groups: 4-18 Interests and hobbies:My main discipline is rock climbing but I also love mtn biking, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, canoeing and pretty much anything outside. I do like to meander through an art museum once in a while or play board games or video games. I'm psyched to kind of do anything! Describe your childcare style:I like to have fun as much as possible but also like to focus on the task at hand. I have worked from the Love and Logic model a lot in the past and it seems to work well when the kid has options. I try not to impose expectations and see from the kid's point of view.
