Experience: I have been lucky to work with three amazing families in the past six years! Having such great kids has made work so enjoyable and I would never trade it for anything! I have worked with children of both genders starting at age two! In high school, I watched two girls grow, as I started watching them at ages 3 and 8. These wonderful girls created my love for babysitting/nannying! Currently, I babysit two amazing little ones (2 and 5) and nanny full time for three amazing children (6,7, and 11). In addition to nannying, I love to help mom out and I have gone grocery shopping, ran errands, meal prep, made appointments and much more to help out! I am very flexible and would love to go the extra mile and help!

Experience with the following age groups: Toddler, Preschool and School age.

Interests and hobbies:Travel is definitely one of my biggest passions and I try to travel as much as possible. Traveling near or far helps gain new perspectives, see new cultures, hear new languages and much more. In addition, I recently got into fitness and really enjoy kickboxing and being outdoors!

Describe your childcare style:Growing up my parents always kept things structured and I have found that I also believe in structure and a daily routine. I believe structure helps children learn responsibilities and keeps the house running smoothly. I am also a very fun and loving nanny, but at times, I do believe in setting boundaries and being firm. With my current family positive reinforcement works well in encouraging good behavior. They are able to earn fun trips by earning stickers!

What activities do you like to do with children:I like to be outside as much as possible with the children I watch. In the summertime, we make trips to the farmers market, the playground, or go swimming at a local pool. When the weather is not great, I love to dance, do arts and crafts, and play board games.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? My number one goal in life is to help children out. I aspire to work with children either in the medical or the education setting, and with nannying and babysitting, I am able to start working towards my goal. It brings me great pleasure to help them learn to read and even ride a bike. These milestones are great for me but even better for the little ones. I am still very close with my past family and their daughter, now 14, still texts me once a week as I have become her role model and voice of reason when she can’t understand mom. I truly love making a difference in a child’s life.

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?Being loving and caring is very important. By being a loving and caring nanny, I believe the children are able to gain your trust faster. You become another adult figure in the household who is there a lot and I believe the children need to feel loved even when mom and dad aren’t home. Additionally, I believe flexibility is a great quality in nannying. Being flexible makes the household run smoothly and usually makes mom and dad’s life a lot easier!

Additional comments:I am confident that I will be more than just a nanny for your child! With all my families, I have become a role model and most importantly, I have become like family. Your children and you will know for years to come that I love them and I will always be there for them. I hope to speak with you soon!
