Experience: I have had the joy of babysitting, working in a daycare and being a nanny! I enjoy being around children, and I look forward to coming to work every day seeing their happiness and smiles! I have had such great experience of working with all ages 6 weeks to 12 years old and they are all unique in their own way. I have experience with twins that were infants age 4months to 1year, children with food allergies and children with disabilities like Down syndrome and Autism, I also have experience with a child that ate through a feeding tube. I have helped with making doctors’ appointments, grocery shopping, running errands, meal prep, and personal assistant needs. I am capable of helping wherever I can to have the family's lives run smoothly!

Experience with the following age groups: Newborn, Infant, Toddler, Preschool, School age and Preteens.

Interests and hobbies:I like to live my life to the fullest. I believe that it is important to take time to yourself and do things that make you happy. With that being said, I enjoy arts and crafts, I love to scrapbook, I do puzzles in my spare time, and I also enjoy going on evening walks while watching the sunset. I love spending time with family and friends when I am not working as well. Family means everything to me.

Describe your childcare style:I am outgoing so I am easy to communicate with, positive when it comes to hard times, creative when I do art projects, and I enjoy being silly, but I also have structure and am firm. I like to stick to a schedule because it makes it easier on the child, the parents and I. I like to have routine and have the ability to be open-minded when something doesn't go as planned. It is important to sometimes think outside the box. I can be very calm in an emergency. I am able to multi-task Nanny and House Manager duties.

What activities do you like to do with children:I really enjoy singing to all ages of children, even if they are as young as a newborn, music comes with many alternatives. If the weather isn’t too hot or too cold, going on a walk and getting fresh air and playing outside is always good for children and their development. I find joy in playing make believe so the child can show me their imagination, dancing is always fun and a good way to get them moving and arts and crafts are always fun. I do not like a child just sitting in front of a television all day because it does not teach them anything. I want to make sure that anything I do with your child will be a learning experience because that is what I am there for.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? My heart is so filled with joy knowing that I am making a difference in being a part of a family’s life. I have been there to experience babies milestones, learning that they can walk and talk, and growing up before we know it. I have been caring for children for many years between working at a childcare and being a nanny and I still babysit families when they need me. During that time, I have realized that being a nanny is where my heart belongs. To this day I still have that connection of trust with certain families, and it means a lot to me. I know that the children I have cared for, look up to me. I want to be that person that the family is able to depend on for anything.

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?Punctuality and being dependable are very important to me, as well as open communication. A good candidate listens and asks questions about any concerns. They follow directions and make sure to meet the family’s expectations. You must be motivated and ready to accomplish any task along with a lot of energy and patience because you’re going to need it. It's very important, that a parent or guardian is comfortable with me and can trust me with their child in any situation. Honestly and being loving and caring are extremely important as well. The child is with you majority of their week so that child needs to be able to feel safe and secure with you. I promise that I will follow your needs as directed and give endless love to your child. Most of all have a true passion for children like I do!

Additional comments:I genuinely enjoy my career. I put my heart and soul into my job. I promise that I will always give you 100%!
